“I Would Be Fu**d Up”: Reigning Bodybuilding Champion Big Ramy Shows Signs of Nervousness Ahead of 2022 Mr. Olympia

Mamdouh Elssbiay, known as the “Big Ramy” is the prevailing Mr. Olympia champion has his eyes set on defending his title, again this year. The two-time title holder is one of the favorites to win the event. His fans are eager to see him lift the trophy for the third consecutive time.

However, Elssbiay, who always calls himself the biggest rival, maybe a little nervous ahead of the competition. Find out below, who Big Ramy thinks are his top contenders for the Mr. Olympia title.

Big Ramy and his biggest rivals

With the Olympia competition just a few weeks away, Elssbiay and his coach Dennis James, sat with bodybuilding veterans Chris Cormier and Milos Sarcev, to discuss the competition.

According to Fitness Volt, Elssbiay spearheaded the conversation and named himself as one of the biggest competitors. But, he also mentioned William Bonac, Brandon Curry, and Hadi Choopan, as his biggest competitors.

“It’s Ramy. If I come not 100 percent, I would be fu**d up. I had that dream every day. I respect all of them. I have to [say] William [Bonac], Brandon [Curry] and Hadi [Choopan],” he confessed.

Besides, Elssbiay also mentioned that he is working harder to win the title this year. When a picture of Big Ramy came up during the conversation, coach James and Milos Sarcev agreed that the 2 times Mr. Olympia looked photoshopped in his recent pictures.

The challenging season for Elssbiay so far

Earlier this year, Elssbiay had issued an apology after he failed to appear for guest posing at Jim Manion’s Pittsburgh Pro show. However, his fellow competitors questioned Elssbiay’s commitment to the sport. This raised doubt among fans, about whether Big Ramy will participate in Mr. Olympia or not.

Following this, Elssbiay then had a discussion with Olympia President Dan Solomon, and the latter confirmed that Elssbiay is working hard for winning his third title.

Despite all this, Big Ramy has grown quite active on social media. He is sharing his progress quite often with his fans. Ramy is working hard to claim his third Mr. Olympia title, this year.
