Dealing with a kidney disorder, Chris Bumstead has not had an easy journey. The 27-year-old bodybuilding champion first won a regional show in Ontario, later becoming an Olympia Champion in 2019. An active social media user, Chris regularly posts videos of his training and fitness. He also reacts to fans’ comments and has always been grateful for their love.

The three-time winner of the Mr. Olympia Classic title, Chris Bumstead, has more than 2 million followers on Instagram. In a comment, when a fan told Bumstead of his desire to train with him, Bumstead gave him a unique challenge. He said he would fulfill his wish if the fan’s comment got above 10,000 likes.

When Chris Bumstead spoke about fans and his special promise

In an interview with Barbend in 2021, Bumstead talked about how he behaved like a normal person with his fans. He further spoke about how he wanted his fans to feel that he is an ordinary person who simply likes to workout. This reflects his down-to-earth nature.

During his interview with Barbend, Bumstead spoke about his promise to the fan whose comment got more than 10,000 likes. “When I go to the states in March, we’re going to try to fly him in and make it happen,” he said. “I know how I would feel if I was on the other end of that and I got that 10,000 likes…”, he continued.

At present, Chris Bumstead is prepping up for the 2022 Mr. Olympia. Bumstead also shared a post on Instagram with the title “Olympia Prep Series Begins.” He also aims to begin a series on YouTube where he’ll share his Olympia 2022 journey.
