When fans think about the Atlanta Braves today, Freddie Freeman undoubtedly pops up in those thoughts. Since joining them in 2010, the 32-year-old established himself as a fan favorite with terrific displays in the diamond.
After twelve seasons with the Braves, Freeman finally won the World Series when they beat the Houston Astros in the best-of-seven series this week. While he basks in the glory of his success, he also faces the reality of becoming a free agent for the first time since joining the Braves.

Yesterday, the Braves held a parade to celebrate their first World Series win in 26 years. While addressing their fans in Truist Park, shortstop Dansby Swanson made a short and sweet statement to the front office.

Despite having the worst record of all teams in the MLB playoffs this year, the Braves put on incredible performances in the postseason. Prior to the World Series, they beat the Milwaukee Brewers and stunned the defending World Series champions, the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS.
Although they lost stars like Ronald Acuña Jr. to injury, they outclassed the Houston Astros in the Fall Classic. Swanson was one among many Braves stars who took the World Series by storm, smashing crucial home runs during the best-of-seven series.
