“I am a personality and each role I play shares a bit of that personality, I think the successful ingredient in it [Longstreet] was because I was being Bruce Lee. I was free to express myself,” Bruce said.

He talked about his specialty and explained how, in every role he played, he dove fully into it. The legend not only turned into the character but also made his version of that character. He didn’t need to copy it, he had his style!
“When I first arrived [in Hollywood] I did The Green Hornet. As I looked around I saw a lot of human beings, as I looked at myself I was the only robot there, because I was not being myself,” Bruce added.
His first day on the set made him realize his mistakes. He realized he needed to create a version of himself or he would become disoriented. He felt like a robot because he wasn’t being himself as he followed everything he was told. The version of himself he lacked made him realize his mistake.

It’s been over five decades since the legend passed away, but the contributions he made to the modern martial arts world are huge. He not only made a lot of contributions in MMA, but also in the world of acting. He was an all-rounder, and that is what made him so special.
Jeet Kune Do, which was founded by Bruce Lee, made a huge impact in the world of MMA. It was a hybrid martial arts philosophy drawn from different combat disciplines that paved the way for modern mixed martial arts. Bruce always believed in defense over offense, which was unique to him.
