Chris Bumstead is widely popular on social media. He created a buzz in the bodybuilding business when he secured the 2nd prize for the Mr. Olympia Classic Physique 2 years in a row in 2017-18. Afterward, he amped up the game for contemporary bodybuilding by winning the championship for three years straight (2019-21).
In a YouTube video posted by Gymshark a year back, CBum, as he is lovingly called, reacts to the various messages that fans sent him over his different social media platforms. Chris’s video gained over 3 million views, and we saw the athlete getting amused by the various nicknames his fans gave him.

Chris Bumstead might decide to change his name
Bumstead read out a few of the funny tweets from his fans for an episode of Gymshark Reacts. One tweet read “Chris fu**ing Bumstead”. The 27-year-old paused, looked at the camera, nodded, and said, “That is… That’s my name, My middle name is now f**king!” Convinced that his fan had an excellent point, he added, “If you didn’t know, I’m replacing it legally, it’s done”

Bumstead’s fanbase grows stronger every day. He has over 11 Million followers on Instagram and 3.4 Million on TikTok, which signifies that the majority of his fans are from the younger generations.
It would not be much of a stretch if CBum decides to add The F-Word for real. Wouldn’t that be a sight to behold?

Bumstead’s aesthetic appeal, along with his muscular finesse, is a deadly combination. One quite worthy to ignite passion. In a series of tweets from both men and women, Chris is left astonished as his fans shower him with affection. “As lifters, I think we can all collectively agree on our obsession with Chris Bumstead,” wrote one fan. “I believe aliens haven’t attacked us yet, they’re waiting for the moment where they can steal CBum so they can clone perfection,” concurred the next.

In addition, he also laughs at the various nicknames they have in store for him. One of the fans wrote, “If you ever need motivation, just look at daddy CBum working out…”
“Apparently I’m just daddy now!” said Chris.

The Canadian athlete is not new to this, however. Previously, he survived a critical kidney condition called IgA nephropathy aka Berger’s disease. Cbum’s compassionate and loving fans did not hesitate to portray their support, flooding his social media with good wishes. Chris Bumstead has become an inspiration for millions. In the end, he continues to participate in his sport.
