Mikaela Shiffrin gave a rare win at the downhill ski race in St. Moritz, as she’s known more for slalom and giant slalom. Winning downhills is not her forte, but she surprised all by owning the course’s midsection and securing a time faster than Sofia Goggia, who won the Super G the day before and is the downhill specialist.
