Arguably one of the greatest power couples in the world, Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods shared a lovely relationship. They dated each other for nearly two years while finally calling it quits in 2015. Despite dating for some time, Vonn and Woods have remained good friends.

A very prominent person in her life, Vonn spoke about how Woods is still a good friend. Back when Woods had a major car accident, Vonn came in support of her ex-boyfriend while talking about how happy she was to see him back.

Are Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods still friends?

Earlier, Vonn was married to Olympic skier Thomas Vonn for four years. After that, she dated Woods, and the couple had a great time together. After Woods’ accident, Vonn spoke about how happy she was to see him return while reuniting back with his kids.

“We are friends and, of course, I’m happy that he is back and healthy. And, you know, it was a tough time for him. So I am just happy that he is back with his kids,” said Vonn.

Both Tiger and Vonn were supportive of each other for a long time. Back in 2015, Woods surprised Vonn by flying to Italy to surprise his girlfriend during the Super-G event. As a skier who suffered from a lot of major injuries, it was a special moment for her to see her husband beside her. But all that ended in 2015, as the couple went their separate ways.

“After nearly three years together, Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship. I will always cherish the memories that we’ve created together. Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart. I will always admire and respect Tiger,” said Vonn.

Two legendary athletes

The success stories for both these athletes were their comebacks. Vonn returned from major knee injuries to win a medal at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. She retired from skiing in 2019. As for Woods, he recently returned to the Augusta Masters, to play golf and enjoy his time on the circuit.

He too has come from devastating injuries, determined to prove a point in almost all major competitions. The 2019 Augusta Masters proved to be a stunning feat for him. As for Vonn, she is an analyst and currently dating Diego Osorio.
