

The relationship between Lindsey Vonn and her mother Linda Krohn is heartwarming. Their journey has been pretty hard. Born on October 18th, 1984, Vonn is a legendary Alpine skier. She won multiple medals and accolades while becoming a legend in the sport. The influence she still has on other skiers is remarkable. Much of Lindsey’s courage came from her mother, who didn’t give up during many critical moments. Hence, Krohn earlier talked about the problems she had during the delivery.

“I went in to have Lindsey on Oct. 18, 1984, and I don’t remember anything for the next seven weeks. After five days in the hospital, the nurse came by and said, ‘I’m sorry, but your baby needs to leave.’ I didn’t even understand I had a baby,” said Krohn.

It became a complicated delivery procedure, but she went through it. Vonn always spoke highly of her mother. The delivery procedure caused minor paralysis in Mrs. Krohn’s left leg and left a limp. There is no doubt that Mrs. Krohn was a strong woman, and her daughter Lindsey always had her back

Lindsey Vonn turned into a champion
Apart from Vonn, Krohn had four kids, including a set of triplets. When Vonn moved to Colorado, she was 11, and her mother accompanied her and guided Vonn during her training. Vonn often talked about her mother setting a great example for her and that she was a tough woman.

Suffering from a complicated birth, she struggled hard to raise her kids. Her mother inspired Vonn to become a strong and independent woman. From winning an Olympic gold medal to four World Cup titles, Vonn achieved incredible success.
