The sensational Mikaela Shiffrin is an inspiration to all. Being an Olympic gold medalist, Shiffrin focuses on the meaningful things in life. After not having a memorable 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, she returned to the competitions and won her fourth overall World Cup title. Yet, her outstanding achievement would be the Jeff Shiffrin Athlete Resiliency Fund.

Her dad passed away after an accident in 2019 and left behind mental scars. Likewise, she always speaks highly about him and relaunched the Fund on Father’s Day. She spoke about 44 athletes from various sporting disciplines receiving a grant of about $13,000. Hence, she could not believe the donations and sent her appreciation to all the well-wishers.

“My Dad was passionate about elite sports and believed in supporting athletes who are hardworking, disciplined & constantly pushing themselves to be better and overcome challenges to compete at the top of their game. His passion for sport & athletes lives on through this fund which we created to honor his life and legacy,” mentioned Shiffrin on Twitter.
