Lindsey Vonn talks about shopping habits

In 2015, almost four years before she bid farewell to her competitive career, the skiing icon talked to Wall Street Journal about everything Lindsey Vonn. She also opened up on her guilty pleasures and how she celebrates her victories on the slope.

“I splurge on: purses and shoes. It’s a problem. If I win twice in one weekend or I have good race weekends back-to-back, I buy myself something and it is usually shoes or a purse. I love Louis Vuitton–we have the same initials,” Vonn claimed.

LV loves LV sounds pretty reasonable. Who wouldn’t want a bag that comes with one’s initials embossed into its identity? And for Lindsey Vonn, who has 84 World Cup wins, four overall championship titles, and even an Olympic gold, fans can imagine how full her closet must be by now.

Lindsey Vonn is known for being an adrenaline junkie, loving the thrill of the extreme sport that has landed her in the hospital multiple times. Her training regimen when she competed was rigorous, and she hits the gym pretty hard even now.

But her military discipline doesn’t translate the same way into other aspects. Lindsey Vonn meticulously plans, but she never restricts herself in areas like food. “I hate the word diet,” she claimed. For the skier, it’s all about moderation and eating what’s right.
