But instead of celebrating her great victory, Mikaela has directed all her attention to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. The vital relief work being done there has impressed Shiffrin, who now posted a heartwarming post on Instagram, for the brave souls working round the clock, providing aid to those in need.

She wrote, “A few weeks ago I posted about some organizations who are doing vital relief work in Ukraine. Thank you to all of you for supporting the organizations that are doing important work on the ground and around the world to make a difference. Many of you have offered suggestions and showed support in ways you were able. Thank you.”

Moreover, she thanked her fan, Darka, for reaching out to her with her work. With the help of one of her sponsors, Mikaela sent supplies to Darka for her incredible service at the local refugee hub in her hometown of Košice, Slovakia.
