Just like every year, this year’s most awaited annual event, Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game is being held at the Jon M. Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Popular singers and athletes flooded the wooden court as the event kickstarted on the 17th of February.

Among those was, Alpine ski legend, Lindsey Vonn, who was seen engaging in an enthusiastic conversation with singing sensation, Janelle Monae in a pre-game minute, per Twitter. While the latter sported an All-star jersey with basketball dunks, Vonn was appointed as a coach. Let’s find out more about the star-studded game.

As per the social media update by KSL Sports, the 38-year-old athlete imparted her coaching skills at the grand NBA event. The video featured the duo planted at the court’s center, chatting away ahead of the game. Several athletes were seen shooting balls in the background, while Monae seemed to actively engage with Vonn.

The caption of the post read, “@JanelleMonae chatting pregame with Coach @lindseyvonn.” The duo teamed up at the celebrity matchup. Moreover, the former racer put up a story on her Instagram with the 37-year-old singer, captioned, “Best team! @janellemonae”

Furthermore, the energetic ambiance was an add-on to the already illustrious affair. Grammy winner, 21 Savage graced the court with his presence, in addition to former Detroit Lions star, Calvin Johnson and NFL icon, DK Metcalf. The Ruffles game also hosted a glamorous list of stars from the entertainment industry as well.

Iconic celebrities at the All-Star game

As per a Twitter thread by NBA Communications, it was revealed that Academy-award winner, Ben Affleck is set to introduce the All-Star players of the event. Besides that, a performance by Post Malone, will be followed by Hollywood megastar, Vin Diesel’s, arrival at the event. 

Apart from that, NBA idols, LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo will go against one another backed by their talented teams. Thus, this Sunday night, the stars are shooting it down at the hoop fest.
