“Long May You Reign”: Mikaela Shiffrin’s Latest Show of Dominance Downhill Inspires Fans All Over America

Alpine skiing legend Mikaela Shiffrin rewrote history with her majestic triumph in the 2023 World Cup. She broke former skier Lindsey Vonn’s world record of 82 World Cup wins with her 83rd victory. The epic moment is being cherished by the whole skiing world, many hailing her as the new skiing queen.

Likewise, the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team congratulated the athlete on their official Facebook page with a grand caption. That’s not all, because fans went wild in the comments section applauding her for her mighty performance.

Taking to the social media platform, the national team saluted the 27-year-old prodigy for her victory. The caption read, “She cannot be stopped! Another WIN for Mikaela Shiffrin!!! Plus 3 in the top ten!!! Paula Moltzan 7th, Nina O’Brien 10th! WOW. Go USA!” On a similar note, fans raved in the comments section. Following are some of them:

2-time Olympian medalist, Aleksander Kilde took to his Instagram to laud girlfriend, Shiffrin on her historical achievement. He added a brief note with the update that reflected his love for the skier. Kilde added a video of Shiffrin’s winning minute and wrote, “GOAT.” Moreover, the story featured her expressing her joy as the results went live.
