The US Ski Team has hosted some of the greatest names in the realm of alpine skiing. From, 4x World Ski Championship winner Lindsey Vonn, to Mikaela Shiffrin, who won her 80th World Cup title in the 2022 Women’s Alpine Skiing category, these American phenoms have considerably raised the bar. Similarly, in the 2023 Cortina d’Ampezzo Alpine Ski World Cup, US competitors clinched 3 of the top 12 honorable positions, as per the official Facebook update by the team.

Pro athletes, Mikaela Shiffrin, Breezy Johnson, and Isabella-Bella Wright finished at great divisions on Friday. The U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team’s caption read, “What a day for our women’s speed team. 3 in the top 12 in Cortina D’ Ampezzo.” So who landed the top spot?

Shiffrin finished in the 4th position, Johnson in the 9th, and Wright finished in the 11th place. It was definitely a moment of celebration for the team. However, Shiffrin’s prestigious placement in the top 5 rankings, took the limelight.

The 2023 Cortina d’Ampezzo Alpine Ski World Cup kick-started on the 20th of January and is set to go on until the 22nd. Evidently, the US is on its way to glory as the stunning pros sealed the deal at the championship. Fans were quick to take to their social media to celebrate with their team.
