Recently, NBA star LeBron James became a billionaire and stepped foot into the pantheon of the wealthiest sports athletes in the world. However, an Olympian steps up to the top.

Anna Kasprzak, a Danish dressage rider, is one of the wealthiest athletes in the world. Even though she has no Olympic medals in her name, she won several other major medals and is a marvelous rider. Thus, it is impressive to see her on that list.

The 18-time NBA All-star recently rose to the top of the charts and became one of the wealthiest athletes. James moves ahead of most of his competitors and is the first active NBA player to make the list. According to Forbes, his net worth stands at $1 billion. The wealthiest athlete in the world is Michael Jordan has a net worth of $1.7 billion as of now. However, this is where Anna Kasprzak comes into play.

She has a staggering net worth of $1.3 billion and is the wealthiest female athlete on the list. Along with her brother Andre and mother Hanni, she owns $1.46 billion in sales from Danish shoe manufacturer, ECCO. The company’s products are sold in 90 countries, and they have over 2200 ECCO shops and other online shops. Hence, their revenue generation is off the charts. Kasprzak’s late grandfather, Karl Toosbuy, founded the company back in 1963.

Likewise, four bronze medals after competing at the European Young Riders Championships while claiming silver, and two bronze medals at the European Junior Championships.
