Sha’Carri Richardson is one athlete who has a clear case for that result. She missed the Tokyo Olympics 2020 after testing positive by the World Anti-Doping Agency. Likewise, they banned her as she was not able to compete for 30 days.

Hence, the dream of appearing in sprinting competitions never happened. Posting the sixth-fastest time in the 100-meters before that, she had what it takes to become a superstar. But, things went out of hand.

This has irked Richardson stating how the double standards are coming into play. The inconsistencies in decision-making are visible for everyone to see. Richardson spoke about her name getting tarnished, as she is unhappy with the Olympic Committee for allowing the figure skater to compete.

“Failed in December and the world just now know however my resulted was posted within a week and my name & talent was slaughtered to the people,” said Richardson.

Richardson, on the other hand, had a tough time before the Tokyo Olympics, losing her mother, which sent her into a downward spiral of emotions. She faced a ban for a month after she failed her doping test, which caused her to lose her Olympic spot. Richardson has questioned the process leading to her disqualification.
