From visiting Formula One races or soccer matches, Usain Bolt is an ardent follower of sports. Not only does he have an interest in athletics, but soccer has also been his passion for a long time. Moreover, he recently posted a tweet wearing a Borussia Dortmund jersey. A huge follower of soccer, he occasionally attends to see his favorite club, Manchester United play at Old Trafford.

Dortmund is another club that he loves and had trained in earlier. After seeing him in the club’s jersey, the official Borussia Dortmund account posted an appreciation tweet for Bolt.

The legendary Usain Bolt is a huge follower of soccer. He had earlier trained with the Dortmund team but failed to break into the first team. Irrespective of that, Dortmund posted a tweet for the fastest man alive. They showed him the respect he deserved with a complimentary tweet from their official account.

While everyone thought he was joking about starting a soccer career, Bolt achieved his dreams. He played in Australia for some time with the Central Coast Mariners. But, it never kick-started to be the fairy tale ending everyone thought to be. He also had a stint with Dortmund as he trained with their players. A motivated Bolt spoke about his soccer dreams.

“Everyone feels like I?m just kidding around ? [that] I?m joking. But I?m serious. I?m actually going back to Dortmund in a couple of weeks to work with them for three more weeks just to assess myself at a better level – to see what level I?m at or what I need to do, or if I can,” said Bolt.

During that time, Dortmund’s boss Peter Stoger spoke about what Bolt needed to improve on his game. While he was training, many people came and visited him at BVB’s training center. Nonetheless, Stoger talked about what Bolt needed to do to improve on his game.

“It’s all about procedure and movement, but the most important thing is that he had fun. I think he is talented, but when he wants to play at a higher level, he clearly has a lot of work to do,” said Bolt.

If he had started training earlier to be a soccer player, one may never know what happens. With his pace, Bolt could have been one of the greatest players in the history of soccer.
