Looking back at 2021, Sha’Carri Richardson was made to reflect on what was a tough year. Although she made the sixth-fastest time in the history of women’s 100-meter competition, her run after that was not the best. She qualified for Team USA for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics but was banned from the same after a positive doping test. From there on, her world flipped upside down. Hence, 2022 would be a huge year for the talented sprinter.

Recently, there were rumors of her entry to the famous TV show Celebrity Big Brother. However, her agent spoke about not taking part in the show and denied any rumors of the same.

Sha’Carri Richardson won’t take part in the reality show

Ashley Blackwood, Richardson’s agent, spoke about the representatives of the show approaching Richardson for an appearance on the same. Different celebrities have been linked to the show so far; Vanilla Ice, Toderick Hall, Erika Jayne, and NeNe Leakes were set to appear on the show. However, TMZ denied any rumors of these celebrities appearing on tv shows. Now, Richardson’s agent spoke about the matter as well.

“Sha?Carri was contacted months ago to be on Big Brother and declined. All coverage on her participating are false and simply just rumors,” said Ashley.

Some of the included houseguests Ne-Yo, Lamar Odom, and Tiffany “New York” Pollard will also not attend the show. Notably, the third season of the show will premiere on February 2nd, at 8:00 p.m. ET on CBS. Understandably, fans cannot wait for the show to start. As for Richardson, she will hope to find her form for the 2022 season.
