Out of all the major athletes in the world, Sha’Carri Richardson gets the stick most for being pompous or vocalizing her opinions. In her latest tweet, Richardson spoke about how athletes and celebrities are being targeted constantly. With regards to the post, American athlete Trayvon Bromell also had his own comments.

To the post that Richardson spoke about, Bromell went onto his philosophical side to bring out the lighter side of the situation. He spoke about the reference of Babylon; the ancient empire with a rich history to its name.

Sha’Carri Richardson posts an interesting tweet
With all the controversies behind her in recent times, everyone wants a piece of Richardson. Although it is unfair to the athlete, she continues to stay positive and train on her skills. Moreover, she looks to start the 2022 athletics season with a bang, improving on her timings from 2021. Being unabashedly herself, she continues to question why people target her all the time and set high-end expectations from athletes and celebrities worldwide.
“Why do y?all put athletes and celebrities on pedestals ?” she wrote on Twitter.

American athlete, Trayvon Bromell replied under the tweet in a sophisticated way, referring to the Babylonian Empire. Babylon was a place where enemies of god stationed themselves. Referring to the same, Bromell supported Richardson and acknowledged that both of them were dragged down.

Two incredible talents
Despite all those claims, these two are some of the most talented athletes on the racetrack. Sha’Carri Richardson holds the sixth-fastest time in the women’s 100-meters competition. She set a time of 10.72 seconds during the Miramar Invitational athletics meet in Miami as she rose to fame. Bromell, in the meantime, has a personal best of 9.76 but failed to live up to the expectations at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Both these athletes would look to prove a point to their detractors heading to the next athletic season. They have the talent to be special and the next World Champions in Eugene, Oregon will be a key competition for the duo.
