Michael Johnson supports Tiger Woods’ statement
Back before Usain Bolt conquered the track and field, Johnson was the dominant force, bagging several medals to his name. Recollecting Woods’ statement, he spoke about how he was inspired by Tiger’s answer to the question.
Responding to the question back in 2000, Woods had said, “My dad has never asked me to go play golf. I ask him. It’s the child’s desire to play that matters, not the parent’s desire to have the child play. Fun. Keep it fun.”

Now, in a recent tweet, legendary athlete Michael Johnson also spoke in favor of the golfer and how he shares the same views.

Both athletes followed their passion to become the greatest competitors in their respective sports. Given his history, fans regard Woods as one of the greatest golfers of all time and arguably the most influential entity in the world. He ranks right behind Jack Nicklaus for the most major championships won in golf.
As for Johnson, his heroics in athletics still rank him up there with the best.

Johnson became the first man to win both, the 200 meters and 400 meters in the Olympics in 1996. The signature gold shoes donned in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics cemented his legacy as one of the greats of the game.
