The seven-time Super Bowl champion, Tom Brady, is a legend of the game. Leading his team from the front, he is on course to guide the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the playoffs again. With their recent victory against the New York Giants, they move one step closer to the end goal now.

Notably, during that game, Brady made an 11-yard dash, which stunned the fans in attendance. With that outrageous run, he also claimed he was the fastest man alive. However, with Usain Bolt’s record still untouched, and the track still in search of its next dominator, how do you think he will react to Brady’s claim?

The quarterback is a legend of the game, who he loved the fact that his teammate praised him for the run. However, making a bold statement in return, he retweeted the post and wrote, “Been trying to tell people for years that I’m the fastest man alive.”

Banter or not, a matchup between Bolt and Brady is indeed an enticing thought. However, practically and technically, there would be no contest. Bolt is the fastest man alive after setting a world record of 9.58 seconds in a 100m race.

During the NFL combine, Brady made a 40-yard dash time of 5.28. Bolt, on the other hand, clocked a time of 4.22. Notably, it’s not the first time that someone in the NFL has challenged Bolt.

A similar incident happened when NFL star Tyreek Hill challenged Bolt to a race. Responding to Hill, who is one of the fastest players in the NFL, Bolt said, “That would be big … I don’t think he [Hill] is going to go for it. We should think about it, we should put some thought into that one.”

It would be a fascinating matchup to see the two athletes go head to head. While Bolt has set a time of 9.58 in a 100-meter race, Hill has a time of 10.19s. This shows the dominance of Bolt in the sprinting events and how incredible he was and probably still is.
