Winning medals at different Olympic Games made Usain Bolt a legend of the sport. Likewise, apart from training hard week in week out, he loves to meet new people while spending quality time together. One person who he loves to hang out with is Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex. The duo started their connection on Twitter, soon after exploding into something fruitful.

Back on his 30th birthday, Harry took to Twitter to compliment Bolt on being ‘officially the greatest.’ Significantly, their relationship grew as Bolt loves his personality.
Usain Bolt appreciates Prince Harry
The duo met together when Harry challenged Bolt to a race back on his 30th birthday. With the legendary Jamaican athlete being a relaxed and humble person, he accepted the race as they got together. This led to Harry visiting him back in 2012 as they competed in a race. Surprisingly, the Prince won the race. Despite starting the race before the gunfire, he leads the race from start to finish. It’s just fun and games for both of them. Bolt opened up on Harry’s personality, being a person who loves to laugh and have fun.
“He?s cool, very down to earth. When you meet dignitaries you think it will be difficult but he just wanted to laugh ? it was an honor and a pleasure to meet him,” said Bolt.

Both characters enjoy each other’s company. Bolt asked for a rematch after he lost the race in Jamaica but, the Prince was smart enough to reject the competition. The rapport between the two of them is enjoyable to watch.

Losing touch with the Prince
However, he spoke about losing touch with the Prince after he got married to Meghan Markle. The duo left the royal family as they embarked on a new chapter in life. Thus, Bolt spoke about how he did not have any contact with Harry after that.

“I think he got really serious, really quickly. He is about married life and good for it now so has left that life behind now. I haven’t talked to him in a while but I still would like to keep in contact,” said Bolt.
