In the past three months, the only thing that has been constant in MLB is the owners’ lockout. And in order to get the new CBA done, MLB owners and MLBPA have reportedly agreed to change a few rules in the game. When talking about baseball, then pitching is regarded as the most difficult job for a player. However, Atlanta Braves star, Tyler Matzek, believes pitchers today have the solution to every problem that might come along with the new rules.
This is not the first time that Tyler Matzek has been vocal about the changes in Major League Baseball. Earlier in January, he had explained the importance of relief pitchers in baseball. And this time the Braves star has applauded the pitchers for surviving in modern baseball.

Notably, MLB owners and players are trying every possible way to end the ongoing lockout. And if reports are true, then the owners and the players’ union have decided to ban shift in Major League Baseball. Needless to say, with this, pitching will certainly become a tougher challenge.
However, Tyler Matzek of the Atlanta Braves has applauded pitchers’ capabilities today to adapt to any and every change in baseball. While speaking about the same, Matzek also took a dig at the owners.

Atlanta Braves Pitcher Tyler Matzek Makes a Bold Prediction on Relief Pitchers in Modern Baseball- “An Extremely Important Role”
“Pitchers are so good today they have to change rules to try and even the playing field. Pitchers see the technology available to them and learn to use it,” Matzek said. “Most pitchers today have at least some understanding on fluid dynamics. That wasn’t the case 10+ years ago.”
