Team manager Alex Cora was alongside his squad as they recorded a historic win last night. Naturally, Cora couldn’t hold off his emotions as he watched his team fly into the ALCS.

Boston Red Sox recorded a stunning 3-1 victory in the ALDS, against the Tampa Bay Rays. Notably, the team was playing on their home ground, which made the moment even more special. However, while Fenway Park erupted in joy, Alex Cora stepped away from the celebrations, taking a minute to process what he and the team just accomplished.

In the post-match interview, Alex opened up about how he and the team triumphed over the criticizers. “We kept working I know a lot of people questioned our coaching staff, and what we do on a daily basis but we keep working and regardless of the results you know we were out there taking ground balls,” Alex said.
He further added, “Some other teams do it differently than us but we work the way we work and we never gave up on them so we just keep working and sometimes it’s gonna look great sometimes bad, but we aren’t going to stop working.”
