Enjoying his time these days, Chen is attending various events and sports competitions as he is enjoying the fruits of his labor. Some fans took to Twitter to congratulate the figure skater and posted pictures of him.

Fans celebrate Olympic success of Nathan Chen

Back at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, Chen lost his way in the singles competitions and saw him only winning a bronze medal for the team event. This time, however, things were different. He dominated the programs from start to finish, even creating a new short program world-record. He broke Yuzuru Hanyu’s record by scoring 113.97 points and cemented his place as one of the best figure skaters in the world. Thus, tributes keep coming as fans have written beautiful tributes on Twitter.

“I love that you love what you do as a skater. It’s never only for the medal but because you’re truly love and passionate about figure skating. I hope you will continue flourishing as a skater as long as your heart yearns for.”

Likewise, another fan posted a collection of Chen’s photos from Beijing and posted it on Twitter. It just shows the love the fans have for him as he dominated the Olympics, this time around.

An excited Chen loved his short program

Skating to the tunes of Elton John’s Rocketman, he delivered a masterclass in figure skating with his signature quadruple jumps. Moreover, the short program paved the way for his terrific performance as he spoke about his experience, in performing at the greatest sporting event.

“I was elated. Last Olympics, both short programs didn’t go the way I wanted and to finally get the opportunity to skate the programs the way that I wanted — it feels really great. It means a lot,” said Chen.
