The Beijing Winter Paralympics 2022 is seeing one of the most remarkable performances from Oksana Masters. Putting on a phenomenal display, she has already added to her medal tally at the Games this year. The determination and passion she showcases in the competitions are extraordinary and now is receiving the rewards of the same. Speaking of her incredible run, she now revealed that the secret to her success is her Lamborghinis.

No, not the expensive cars; but the prosthetic legs, which gave her the ultimate freedom to showcase her talents. She is truly a source of inspiration for many athletes and her mother helped her to achieve greatness.
Oksana Masters’ ‘Lamborghinis’
Gay Masters, Oksana’s mother, has been the driving force behind her daughter’s dreams. She helped Oksana get the prosthetic legs, which were costing $100,000 then, by paying for them through her own insurance.
As of now, she has four medals at the 2022 Beijing Winter Paralympics. She named these legs as her personal ‘Lamborghinis’, owing to the sprinting and biathlon competitions she takes part in. Being both a Summer and a Winter Paralympian, she has won 14 Paralympic medals.
Back during the Laureus Awards ceremony in Berlin, Germany, she gave a fitting tribute to her mother, who helped her to build a budding sports career.
“Mom, thank you for saving me, for giving me a second opportunity at life, and for opening the doors of sports and then waiting for me until I was ready to walk through that door,” said Masters.

A stunning Winter Paralympics
Performing at the highest level at both the Summer and Winter Paralympics, she is truly an inspiration for many generations. With the rise in global tensions, she spoke about feeling it tough to find the passion and the desire to compete. But, fighting through all the adversities, Masters is dominating the games.
