Kai Greene is among the most prolific competitors of the last decade in bodybuilding. The three-time Arnold Classic winner has elite genetics, and when he competed he carried a lot of muscle mass while possessing incredible flexibility and mobility. Greene also stood out for his unique posing routines incorporating dance and bodybuilding. However, the American became a fan favorite because of his intense rivalry with seven-time Mr. Olympia Phil Heath.
Many fans consider ‘The Predator’ to be an uncrowned Mr. Olympia. A year after he came close to beating Heath, the bodybuilding icon didn’t compete in Mr. Olympia. After winning the 2016 Arnold Classic Brazil, Greene stopped competing entirely. However, ‘The Predator’ has just dropped a massive hint about his future plans.

Earlier today, the Muscular Development Magazine YouTube channel uploaded an interview with Kai Greene. Despite not competing for seven years, Kai Greene still trains hard in the gym and looks one prep away from being back on stage. Hence, during the interview, host Ron Harris asked Greene, “Everyone’s going to crucify me if I do not ask you; Do you plan on ever competing again?”While the fan-favorite bodybuilder didn’t give a concrete answer, he left the possibilities open. “I would never want to say never, I never officially retired, and you never know,” said Greene. He also said, “this is a new year“. The three-time Arnold Classic winner said he doesn’t like the “idea of moving on.”

Kai Green dropped another big hint. “2023 is certainly something to be excited about,” said the bodybuilder. “I guess the best thing I can say is, you just can’t count the guy out,” added Greene. Harris responded he would never count out a bodybuilder like Kai Greene.
Greene’s arch-rival, who he had an awkward meeting with at the Arnold Classic 2023, also came up during the conversation, and things became interesting.
Reigniting the rivalry?
While talking about setting a new standard, Harris said both ‘The Predator’ and ‘The Gift’ had set a new standard. However, the mention of Phil Heath marked a shift in Greene’s mood. “I hate that guy,” said the bodybuilding icon. However, he also showed respect to his rival and seven-time Mr. Olympia Phil Heath.

Greene praised Heath’s accomplishments. “There’s no way I can even rationally think myself to try to discredit that… Nothing but respect, but if you get on stage with me anytime again, I don’t know about all of that.” added Greene. Recently Phil Heath has also sparked rumors of competing again this year.
