What food habits does Jay Cutler maintain?

Being particular about his calorie intake, Cutler prefers a measured food intake. Further, he has confessed in the past that he doesn’t feel particularly intimidated by famous processed food chains. In an interview with The Iced Coffee Hour, former Mr. O shared, “I’ve never had Kentucky Fried Chicken, never had Taco Bel… I actually had Chick-fil-A for the first time weeks ago. It kinda gave me a stomach ache, to be honest.”

In other words, his restricted food habits didn’t allow the “spicey chicken sandwich” and “waffle fries” to bode well for his internal digestive system. Though he liked them, his stomach disapproved.

He definitely has an on-and-off relationship with fast food from the very start of his career. Furthering his personal reasons why he maintains a fair bit of separation from enjoying eating out habits, Cutler revealed that he had a secluded personal style and upbringing from the very start.

He had what he called a “restricted childhood”

When asked the question whether he is inhibiting himself from exploring his taste buds, Cutler nodded to this and shared the reason behind it. He grew up with his six siblings and after his parents’ divorce, they lived with his father. Cutler was only allowed to have only homemade food. With limited resources and the scarce availability of a few fast food chains in his locale, the Cutler household had a very secluded existence.

From having a close circle of just a handful of friends all his life to a childhood with limited financial resources, Cutler became the man he is informed by his own experiences of life. Eventually, that resulted in the inhibiting mentality that helped him get through the tough lifestyle that one had to endure to get to the Olympian stage.
