Fans criticized Arnold Schwarzenegger
The legendary bodybuilder, Arnold Schwarzenegger, is aware of his responsibilities as a person with such influence. In an attempt to make a positive impact on society, he often participates in campaigns that help in the growth of people. Recently, Arnold visited the once Nazi death camp in Poland. It was a visit that was a part of his social work campaigns for the Auschwitz Jewish Center Foundation. The foundation was established to educate people to speak up and cut down all forms of hate.

When he visited the Auschwitz Museum, the Austrian oak left behind a message in the museum’s guest book. It read, “I’ll be back.” The official Twitter account of the museum posted the picture of his message on Twitter.

However, he received a lot of backlash for his inscription on the guest book. The message was his famous catchphrase from his blockbuster film Terminator. Many fans felt it was incorrect to use his Terminator reference in the context.

He received a heavy backlash for using this particular catchphrase. However, some of his fans defended him by saying there was no reason for so much hatred. They stressed the fact that Arnold was there for a short time. That’s why he wrote it.

I'm glad he visited and wrote in the book but I had to think twice about the message. I'm sure he meant it in the nicest possible way and having been there I know its hard to find the right words but I'm not sure these were the best

The museum had to intervene and clarify Arnold’s inscription as the number of hate messages kept growing.

This visit was planned to be relatively short. The inscription was meant to be a promise to return for another and more indepth visit.

Furthermore, it was a message that Arnold would return soon, as his visit was short. Even though Arnold did not have an ill intent behind his message, due to lack of clarity, fans could not decipher it.
