Evidently, this happens to be the reason behind Jay Cutler‘s prolonged consistency. The 49-year-old former Mr. Olympia loves gymming even after retirement. Though he does not follow a “cheat day” on his diet, Cutler wants to be flexible with his routine.

In an interview with The Iced Coffee Hour Culter shared his food habits, talked about his passion, and revealed his source of inspiration that made bodybuilding an ambition for him.

Is Jay Cutler, still working out in the gym?

Jason Isaac Cutler held the title of Mr. O for four years and was the runner-up for six years. He still maintains those bizarre quadriceps and muscular abs. For him, there are umpteen bodybuilders who come and go, but to leave a mark or to remain in people’s hearts it needs proper passion and dedication without which is it impossible.

He shares in another interview, “People can be great bodybuilders, but you have to think of what the future brings and what you want your legacy to be. And you have to think about staying healthy long-term.” He also stated, “I have a specific order that I do and I want to show like my following that hey I am normal because I know they think that they probably think that I just don’t do anything outside the norm…”

Flexibility or rigidity, what is needed for a maintained physique?

Though Cutler is very passionate about diet, he is not very strict about following a food style. In the interview, he reminisced about him buying 30 dozen eggs and he even said by the time of his practice he could eat a whole cow. He admitted, “I did a video yesterday said abs aren’t made in the kitchen, they’re actually made in the gym but but you still have to you know to be visible they’re made in the kitchen right.”

His secret behind his long-built schedule is his satisfaction with it, “A lot of athletes they schedule cheat days I don’t necessarily have them, I feel like I just still eat quite an abundance of food even though I still scale.”
