Arnold Schwarzenegger disapproved of the Trump presidency
Arnold Schwarzenegger heavily criticized Trump and declared the events of the Capitol Riots as his failure as a leader. Drawing on his experience from when he lived in Austria, he compared the riots to Kristallnacht, or ‘The Night of Broken Glass,’ in 1938. The seven-time Mr. Olympia issued a public statement through Twitter, stating the following.
“Growing up, I was surrounded by broken men drinking away the guilt over their participation in the most evil regime in history,” he said in the video. “Not all of them were evil anti-semites or Nazis. Many just went along step-by-step down the road. They were the people next door.”

By the next year, the two celebrities were in a full-blown Twitter feud, with then-President Trump criticizing Schwarzenegger’s performance as the new Celebrity Apprentice host. Schwarzenegger, in turn, suggested that they switch jobs. This feud over ratings went on for months.
