In the latest episode of the Cutler Cast, Jay Cutler joined talent manager Matt to discuss the aftermath of Mr. Olympia 2022. They also tried to figure out the probable lineup for the 2023 Arnold Classic. While talking about Arnold Classic, Cutler soon drifted to talking about the impact Arnold Schwarzenegger has had in the bodybuilding world as well as Hollywood.

Cutler recalled that Austrian Oak was one of the highest-paid actors at one point and credited Schwarzenegger’s physique for his success. Further, he named a few more actors, comparing them to Schwarzenegger, and admitted that these actors weren’t as impressive as Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Jay Cutler and his team released the #57 episode of the podcast, Cutler Cast, on 5th January 2023. During their discussion, while talking about Arnold Schwarzenegger’s popularity, he revealed that the Terminator actor was once the highest-paid actor, earning 10 million a year. Regrettably comparing him to Dwayne Johnson, Cutler shared that Schwarzenegger was once more popular than Johnson.

Mr. Fourth Quarter further added that physique has played a major role in boosting the popularity of these stars, and said that The Rock won’t be as popular and as successful as he is if it weren’t for his massive physique. Cutler questioned if Rock would still be where he is if he looked like Steven Seagal or Bruce Willis.

“We talk about Chris Hemsworth and these other guys, right? They all have physiques. I mean Van Damme to me, Sylvester Stallone, they all had physiques. I loved Seagal and you know I loved these types of actors but they didn’t enthuse me as much as the Schwarzeneggers or Stallones,” added the 3x Arnold Classic winner. Additionally, Cutler went on to talk about Arnold Schwarzenegger’s aura.

In this podcast, the 4x Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler revealed that as much as he respects the Mr. Olympia title, he was more proud to win the Arnold Classic. Citing the reason, Cutler revealed that Arnold Schwarzenegger has been an inspiration for many bodybuilders just like himself—not only on-stage but off-stage too.

Cutler recalled how every year, the Governator used to unveil his upcoming movie during the opening of the Arnold Classic. He further revealed that Schwarzenegger’s aura on stage used to make the crowd swoon over him. By naming some actors and admitting that although he did admire them too, no one had the same presence and impact as Arnold Schwarzenegger.
