Arnold Schwarzenegger is one of those people who are responsible for revolutionizing the sport of bodybuilding. He led people to believe it was an actual sport and gave it a respectable standing. He has inspired multiple generations to pick up bodybuilding as a sport. His popularity is not bound to just the US or Austria, but Arnold is a global icon. When you walk into a gym anywhere in the world, there’s a possibility of you finding a poster of the ‘Austrian Oak’ there.

But, often, inspiring someone is not enough. The beginners have a tough time starting and struggle with the correct techniques. To help with this, Arnold showed some exercises for the beginners, explaining the right ways to do them.

In the video of Arnold Schwarzenegger, he walked us along with three basic exercises every beginner should incorporate into their workout. He also got the host to join in to show how easy the exercises were.

At 74, many might kick back and relax in a rocking chair as they enjoy their sunset years. But that is not the case with Arnold. The former action hero is still active and goes to the gym regularly. He follows a rigid schedule that is evenly divided across the week.

Mondays and Thursdays focus on the chest, abs, and back. Arnold does five exercises to keep these muscles strong. The exercises include- Dumbbell pull-over, wide grip chin up, hanging leg raises, bent-over barbell row, and flat-barbell bench press. The next area of focus for Arnie is the shoulder, arm, and triceps. Clean and Press, standing dumbbell press, incline dumbbell curl, wrist curls, decline sits ups, and dumbbell one arm tricep extension. These are the exercises he does.
Wednesdays and Saturdays are the infamous ‘leg-days.’ Barbell squats, Barbell lunges, leg extensions, standing calf raise, and kneeling cable crunch make up the day.
