According to Cutler, Coleman and Cutler each claimed to have known that the other was coming for them. Nobody else in the sport worried about the two of them, about competing, but them. Instead of attempting to outperform Coleman, Cutler sought to give his absolute best.

Cutler said, “I don’t think you know we necessarily even worried about each other that much. I was just trying to be my absolute best, and I knew in time my absolute best would be better than his“. Jay added that both Coleman and he thought that the other person would come off in some way or another.

Cutler opens up about trash talk

Jay Cutler, in the same interview, also opened up about how trash talk among competitors is on the rise these days. He believes that the internet has made it easier for people to express their views about others. Cutler is afraid that people are using the power of the internet to create chaos and drama.
