Established nine years after the Austrian Oak’s 7th Mr. Olympia title win, the event is touted as the second most coveted competition in the sport of bodybuilding.

In addition to an official statement, 7x Mr. Olympia and Arnold Sports Festival co-founder, Arnold Schwarzenegger, took to Instagram to publicize the big move.

The 50% bump on the previous year’s $200,000 aims at recognizing the year-long struggle and dedication bodybuilders invest in the sport. Speaking of the 2022 Mr. Olympia, it exhibited a phenomenal show with competitors giving the judges a hard time declaring the top names.
