Bodybuilding Icon Chris Bumstead Confessed in 2020 That He “Was Never Really Sure What His Father Did for a Living”

While bodybuilders may appear nearly flawless with their chiseled bodies, the road to perfection is only sometimes pleasant. The bodybuilding career that leans heavily on aesthetics eventually becomes wearisome after some time. However, the Canadian bodybuilder Chris Bumstead gushed away all the obstacles from his way when it came to slaying on the stage.
On the other hand, very few people are aware of his personal life, especially his parents. In addition, during an interview, Chris stated that he was unaware of his father’s job.

Chris Bumstead confused about his father’s job
The Mr. Olympia winner of Classic Physique, Bumstead joined the Jacked interview sessions to discuss his journey during his bodybuilding career. However, in between, the interviewer asked him about his father’s occupation. But Bumstead gave a foggy reply which left his fans puzzled.

He stated, “He’s like an IT tech guy, the chief information officer, oh, one of those jobs. Where you’re never really sure what he’s doing, but he’s an IT and behind the scenes in computers and stuff, yeah, something I could never do. Yeah, I can’t.”
Chris has provided very little background information about himself. He was raised in Ottawa, Ontario and as he entered school, he revealed his passion for playing sports. Between the ninth and twelfth grades, when he began weightlifting at 14, he increased from 170 to 225 pounds.
Bumstead shares about his support system

After he developed a good physique, Bumstead met Iain Valliere, a professional bodybuilder who has been his coach ever since.
He started bodybuilding as an amusement, but that wasn’t his ultimate purpose. However, he followed the sport more seriously after having fantastic results in the contests he participated in as a junior. During an interview in 2018, Chris discussed the significance of his family as the basis for his unchanging way of life.

Chris owes a lot to his family and partner for helping to mold his personality and help him keep his cool under pressure. He went on to say that he came from a respectable family. Bumstead also stirred into detail about how close he was to his family.
