Hafthor Bjornsson suffered his career’s biggest injury on April 15 at Thor Power Gym. While performing a 556 pounds bench press, ‘The Mountain’ tore his left pec muscles completely off the bone. Moreover, the shocking news of his injury gained massive traction on the internet when Hafthor revealed that he might need to undergo surgery.
On April 17, Hafthor Bjornsson uploaded a YouTube video on his channel updating his fans about his chest injury. He also shared the update on his Instagram handle. In the video, Hafthor revealed that he will most likely have to get surgery after his MRI reports are out. On hearing this, fans and bodybuilding stars alike prayed for his speedy recovery.

He revealed that he might have to endure surgery, depending on his reports. However, he assured his fans that he was doing well. Even when he is injured, The Mountain stated that he is going to the gym to do cardio and gain mental peace. He also expressed that he is finding discomfort in doing certain activities, like wearing clothes. Furthermore, Hafthor stated that although it is the biggest injury of his whole career, he reassured everyone that he will get through this phase.
