Trying Helmut Strebl’s crazy diet to drop body fat percentage down to 3%

Helmut Strebl is a 54-old Austrian bodybuilder who pushes for extreme boundaries to attain fitness. In fact, his discipline and passion for the bodybuilding sport are seldom evident when he asks everyone not to quit, especially when they feel tired and fatigued. Quite literally ripped to the bone, Strebl’s body is a result of years of discipline and training. Soueid when first learned about it said, “His diet and training is insane. It makes no sense whatsoever.”

Soueid starts with the 1st meal, about which he said, “We have got five egg whites, a whole egg, three bagels… some sugar-free jam along with some mustard”. The meal definitely didn’t taste any good to him and he also wondered how three bagels amount to less than 3% body fat. Soueid also admitted that mixing jam and mustard was a bad idea.

He proceeds to the 2nd meal which is supposed to be a meal replacement shake with 50 grams of protein and 80 grams of carbs. Soueid took 3 bananas that comprised 80 gms of carbs and two scoops of Whey for 50 gms of protein. While he did like the taste, he wasn’t sure if its good for dieting or keeping 3% body fat. He said, “How in the world, the most shredded man drinks calories like this, especially 80 grams worth of carbs worth of calories? I have no idea”.

Later he eats a plate of Basmati rice with two servings of 93/7 lean ground Turkey inside his car just before a workout. Soueid tried the exact workout regime of Strebl and said, “That guy looks like a damn anatomy chart”. Bringing the topic back to 3% body fat, which is still pretty insane to believe, he said, “Bagels, Bananas, and Basmati rice definitely make for an amazing pump”. But he did not enjoy the workout of Strebl calling it janky.
