Three years ago, the legend talked about his life as a police officer. He was a part of the Arlington Police and continued his job for eleven years. In addition to that, he said that he was “forced” to end his police career.

Working in the police department didn’t bore him since he liked helping people. A noble job for a noble cause, after all. Coleman continued, “My main thing I like helping people and I like doing something different every single day.”

Despite his comment, he left the job to fully focus on bodybuilding. Being a police officer was not on his plan, just like bodybuilding. Nonetheless, after trying various other jobs, Coleman finally saw an advertisement regarding vacancies in the police force. Soon after that, he applied for it and got the job.

How did Coleman get into bodybuilding?

For those who don’t know, bodybuilding was not Coleman’s first choice. It was only after he joined the police force that he joined the gym. Since then, his interest in the game grew, and in no time, Coleman reached his peak.

I mean, it’s like a hobby, you know. Something like you really enjoy doing. Like some people like going fishing and hunting all that stuff,” said Ronnie Coleman about bodybuilding.
