Taking a quick look at the contenders, a common pattern emerged. Most celebrities had some experience fighting aliens on the big screen. Will Smith gathered his experience from his movie Independence Day. Chris Pratt, Schwarzenegger’s son-in-law, is the protagonist in Guardians of the Galaxy. Sci-fi is the dominant theme, and the stars delivered!

Despite having many political leaders on the list, fans went ahead and chose Schwarzenegger as their leader. Turns out, the Governator and his political career played well with his sci-fi role. Instead of choosing a celebrity who fought fictional aliens, or a political leader who took care of affairs, fans placed their bets on Schwarzenegger. And he was ready to take up the responsibility!

An interesting anecdote emerged during the shoot of this film. Since the character called for a bald head, Schwarzenegger needed to do something about it. His makeup artist, Jeff Dawn, tried persuading him to shave his head, since wearing a bald cap would be time-consuming. To this, Arnie only had a jokingly threatening statement, “Jeff, go ahead! I dare you”.
