Swoll is indeed on his way to spreading alacrity, so he frequently calls out rule-breakers and rabble-rousers. On 25th February 2023, the fitness influencer posted a video on his Twitter with the caption, “Being bigger or stronger than others does not make you better than them! Be humble.” It’s clear from his caption that he will not tolerate any negativity in the fitness industry. Swoll never misses a chance to advocate issues like these. Thus, he took a stand for the boy. Let’s check the video.

In the video, a boy faced difficulties while doing a deadlift, and all of a sudden, a man hopped in and started pressing with the same weight. Swoll slammed the man saying, “I hope this gym sees this, and revokes the membership or makes you apologize to this young man. He is working hard, he’s got the strength, they’re pushing him, they’re encouraging him. You saw an opportunity to shame him, embarrass him, for likes and attention on social media. This is toxic gym culture.”

Moreover, he added, “One of the things that upsets me most in the gym is people thinking they’re better than others, simply because they are bigger or stronger. You’re not. Just because you can lift more doesn’t give you the right to treat people poorly.” Swoll also shared a different approach from the man, “You could’ve done two things – you could’ve gone helped him, encouraged him, helped him with form, or you could’ve simply minded your own business.” Although this is not the first time, the bodybuilding sensation took issues against gym cultures.

Just a week ago, one of Swoll’s fellow bodybuilders was kicked out of the gym based on a misconception from the gym staff. Markus Hunter, Swoll’s friend, was putting back all the weight he used while working out. Then he noticed the rack had some incorrect order of weights, like 10 lbs buried under 45 lbs. One staff came and blamed Hunter for this and, paying no heed to his clarifications, forced him out of the gym.

When Swoll came to know about the affair, he took a stand for his friend through social media. He criticized the worker for treating someone in that way. He literally snubbed the staff for being rude and going out of line.
