Arnold Schwarzenegger talks about his history with warmups

While ‘The Terminator’ star has juggled many roles throughout his life, he maintains a constant routine for exercise. The icon talked about how bodybuilding training was different in Austria, wherein the concept of cardio was foreign to them. He recalled how he, Ken Waller, and Frank Zane would go out running or biking before competitions in order to get fitter. If the goal was to lose weight, one would cut down on carbs, according to the legend.

A successful career in Hollywood made the legend realize that cardio was a good way to burn extra calories and work the heart. He soon switched to combining cardio and weight training in the same session.
