Nick “The Mutant” Walker is befitting as a prominent name in the sport of bodybuilding. After he turned pro at the age of 18, Walker has been eyeing the coveted trophies of Mr. Olympia and Arnold Classic. In 2021, the beast etched his name in the sport’s history by winning the Arnold Classic. Just before the 2023 Arnold Classic, a video was posted on YouTube, showing his transformation as he metamorphosed into one of the most muscular bodybuilders since he was a five-year-old to the present.

This video displayed Walker’s changing physique along with his climbing determination. The path from being a lonely child, followed by past traumatic experiences to winning the 2021 Arnold Classic was not easy. After turning himself from a drug addict to a strong bodybuilder, he changed himself inside out. Fans couldn’t help but appreciate his conversion from a regular boy to the beast who can give tough competition to the big names in bodybuilding. Let’s get to know more about the video.

Nick Walker’s 23 years of transformation

On February 2023, a YouTube account named Alex Red Studio, shared a video of The Mutant, focussing on his development throughout. “Nick Walker from 5 to 28 years old transformation,” read the caption. The video is a series of snaps taken at various times in his life. The first one is a 5-year-old bare-chested Nick flexing his premature front double biceps standing in front of his father. His father Louis Walker has participated in competitive bodybuilding in the past.

On the next slide was a picture of him holding a baseball and donning a team’s jersey when he just reached teenage. Notably, Nick grew up as a loner due to a past traumatic experience that forced them into substance abuse. However, he found a resort in bodybuilding and turned his back on the dark phases. Walker had a visible change in his body when he was 18. Then there was no stopping him in the following years.

As the background music started to climax, the visible changes leading up to the The Mutant figure was striking. His physique started to have a striking difference from when he was 19. Evidently, he was 26 when he won his first Arnold. Walker also looked insane in the next picture when he was 27 and was showcasing his posing routine. The last snap was his latest choreographed pose at 28 years of age when the fans pre-assumed him as the winner.

Posted only a few days before the 2023 Arnold Classic, this video caught the eye of his fans who cheered up for their favorite.

The Mutant had his fans drooling over his physique

Fans crowded the comment section of the video to talk about his insane body transformation. Comparing Nick with a former legend, one wrote, “Bro was the modern Jay Cutler.” Another surmised him as, “Future mr. Olympia.” Someone shared his disappointment and commented, “Incredible physic…I’m still in disbelief that he didn’t win another title at Arnold Classic few days back…”
