James Hollingshead is an IFBB pro standout who made waves after winning his first pro show in 2020. Hollingshead had won his pro card just three years prior in 2017. However, the British bodybuilder has been competing as an amateur since 2009. James standouts on stage with his muscularity. He also regularly lifts massive weights in the gym. Besides bodybuilding, James also loves to play games.

The IFBB pro recently won the admiration of gamers on the internet when he cosplayed as the central character of the popular video game series, “God of War”. Being a bodybuilder, James was a fit for the character. However, he surprised everyone with his cosplay.

Pro bodybuilding and cosplay are words rarely uttered in the same sentence. However, James Hollingshead proved that one could do both exceptionally well at this year’s London Comic Con. On November 9, the IFBB pro cosplayed as Kratos. Kratos is the protagonist of the massively popular “God of War” series. Hollingshead was at the London Comic Con for the midnight launch of “God of War: Ragnarok”.

James uploaded pictures and videos of himself as Kratos to his Instagram on November 9. “Midnight launch for God of War Ragnarok… A great evening / early morning for the true God of war enthusiasts… Honoured to have been a part of it,” wrote the IFBB pro. Hollingshead paid great attention to detail for this cosplay. Jame’s clothes, bodypaint, tattoos, and even beard were on point.

Fans loved James’ cosplay and showered the comments section with praise. Many even called him the best cosplayer, while some pointed out that James had made no mistakes with his costume. Besides the images of himself as Kratos, Hollingshead also uploaded a short video of him putting on the bodypaint.

The God of War series is among the most iconic in gaming history. The first game came out in 2005 and has garnered millions of fans worldwide. “God of War: Ragnarok” is the latest game of the ‘ Norse saga’ series.

James is enjoying the game a lot

The God of War fan is loving the fifth installment of the game. In a recent Instagram post, Hollingshead wrote, “It’s getting increasingly hard to leave my house… God of war Ragnarok is everything and more than expected 🙌. Who else is sinking their ours into this?”

However, Hollingshead isn’t the only one enjoying the game. Ragnarok got rave reviews upon release and became the highest-selling God of War game at launch in the UK.
