Jo Stewart is up for breaking stereotypes

Women lifting weights, or delving into the bodybuilding arena, often comes with its own prejudice. But there should be an end to this, as per Stewart. Starting her journey when she was only 19, the bodybuilder competed in many contests. In fact, she took part in the Arnold Amateur and Masters World competitions.

However, recently, the fitness influencer took to her TikTok, to give a savage reply to the haters who would discourage women who train and lift daily. The video started with a throwback picture of her and came with a caption, “Girl, just quit *bodybuilding*. You ain’t got it.” This was followed by a plethora of images of her flexing her arms and showing off her body while in competitions.

The video became more prominent with the uplifting song that says, “This is the part of me, that you’re never ever gonna take away from me.” Indeed this is her way to respond to those who demotivate people on a mission to reach their goals. And with her motivational video, the veteran wanted to convey the message that no matter what people say, no one can take away your potential from you. However, there are others like Stewart who started early and have been going on with their workouts regardless of their age. One such name is Robby Robinson.
