He shifted his focus to acting and wanted to build a new career altogether. Even though Arnold performed supporting roles in television shows in the start, he was awaiting his break to play a lead actor in a film.

The Super Bowl is one of the biggest sporting events in the world, having millions of people watching it. They paid Arnold Schwarzenegger a whopping $3 million to star in a Bud Light Super Bowl ad in 2014. He had to drink beer in his ‘beer act.’

The brand had to do a lot of convincing to have Arnold be the face of their brand. A 30-second advertisement slot during the Super Bowl was at $4 million or even more. Many brands have benefitted after running their campaign during the Super Bowl.

Arnold stunned the world when he decided to run for governor of California. The legendary bodybuilder was born in Austria but moved to California to pursue his bodybuilding career. Arnold won the elections and served as the governor of California from 2003 to 2011. He took office in 2003 by winning the gubernatorial election against Gray Davis, the governor at that time,.

People believe that politicians make a lot of money. However, during Arnold’s term as the governor over the years, he earned $187,000 during the initial years and later on made $206,500. The former bodybuilder made an interesting call by not accepting his salary as the governor of California. Notably, Schwarzenegger termed it as ‘petty cash.’
