Working out at 4 am in the morning, Wahlberg’s routine normally involves two workout sessions, four-time snacks, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a post-workout meal. While it is often fans who are amazed at his tremendous dedication to fitness, recently, it was Wahlberg’s turn to be astonished. Going to train in Arizona’s gym early in the morning, Wahlberg witnessed an unexpected sight.

Wahlberg narrated this astonishing sight in a recent Instagram post to his 22.1 million fans. The sight inspired Wahlberg to attempt to get up even earlier in the morning to work out.

Mark Wahlberg describes gymgoers’ unbelievable dedication to fitness

In his recent Instagram post, Wahlberg described that when he visited the gym in Arizona at 4 am, it was not his usual empty gym space. To his surprise, “The whole place was packed like a nightclub.” Further, indicating how he admired the gym goers’ exceptional commitment to fitness, Wahlberg admitted, “These guys redefined the 4 am club. They were earlier than me.”

Earlier, Wahlberg had shared glimpses of his early morning workout. on a Sunday morning, which had inspired the boxing promoter, Eddie Hearn. Complimenting Wahlberg, Hearn wrote, “51 years old, there’s hope yet”, hinting at how Wahlberg proved to millions that people can remain fit even after fifty. Not only this, but Wahlberg also once achieved a phenomenal transformation for a movie role.

Mark Wahlberg achieves a stupendous transformation, surprising fans

With an objective to accurately play the role of an overweight character in the movie Father Stu, Wahlberg made a firm resolve to gain weight. Consuming 1100 calories every day for 42 days, Wahlberg gave it his 100%. At times, he also forcibly fed himself, indicating how he would go to any length to transform his physique. To gain weight for the role, Wahlberg included bacon, steak, white rice, and lots of eggs as a part of his diet. The actor also had to consume food at regular intervals, sometimes in less than a gap of three hours. But there is more.

Later, Wahlberg also shared his formula to lose weight after gaining 30 lbs for the movie as reported by the newsfeed Celebretainment. “Losing weight, you just kind of thought it out, you don’t eat, and exercise.”  This is exactly what Wahlberg did which can be seen from his Instagram post in June 2021 which he captioned “No workout days off”, disclosing that he didn’t miss his workouts on holidays. The results of this decision were clearly visible in an August 2021 Instagram post where his abs could be seen, indicating how he had lost weight at a tremendous pace.
