

Rivalries are an integral part of any sport. It makes the sport more enticing to watch for the fans. Further, bodybuilding is no exception. There have been numerous rivalries that have caught the eyes of the fans. From Arnold Schwarzenegger vs Sergio Oliva, to Ronnie Coleman vs Jay Cutler, these battles were a treat to watch for the fans. Recently, Coleman picked out his favorite between Phil Heath, and Kevin Levrone.

While Heath claimed the Mr. Olympia title an astonishing seven times, Levrone came agonizingly close to clinching the title several times but never won it. Coleman explained the reason for why there was no subject of comparison between Heath and Levrone.

Coleman, recently gave his opinion about who was the better bodybuilder between Heath and Levrone. Talking about this, he said, “He’s asking who is better, Kevin Levrone or Phil Heath. Well, that should be self-explanatory since Phil Heath is a seven-time Mr. Olympia and Kevin is a zero-time Mr. Olympia.”

Further, he went on to add, “Yeah. Yeah. I think he got him all day, every night, all morning, and afternoon.”

Coleman is hoping to attend Mr. Olympia 2022, which is scheduled later this year. He has undergone stem cell treatment and is working hard to walk without assistance. “Mostly, I use the chair for long distances and I’m working real hard on it [walking without a wheelchair],” Coleman said.
Coleman’s illustrious career
The 58-year-old is considered to be one of the greatest bodybuilders alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger. During the early part of his career, he won the Mr. Texas title to announce himself in the bodybuilding fraternity. His first success at Mr. Olympia came in the year 1998 when he defeated the likes of Flex Wheeler, and Kevin Levrone, to clinch the title.

Further, he dominated the competition, winning eight consecutive titles between the period 1998-2005. However, after ending his glorious career, he lost most of his mobility due to multiple surgeries.
