Megastar Arnold Schwarzenegger was elected as the 38th Governor of the state of California from 2003 to 2011. Hailing from Austria, he has been able to impart tremendous influence on the American film industry. As his star buddy, Sylvester Stallone once narrated in an interview on YouTube, he triumphed in three different fields.

Starting off as a rookie bodybuilder, then emerging as an iconic action film star, and lastly, running for the State elections, the man has done it all! Talking to Jonathan Ross in his show, the Rambo star did not run short on words to greatly appreciate the Austrian Oak’s can-do attitude. 

Sylvester Stallone once spoke of his admiration for Arnold Schwarzenegger 

According to the 2022 interview by Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, the actor once talked about his co-actor and buddy, The Austrian Oak’s brilliance. He revealed, “Arnold’s a genius, I mean seriously, he’s had three incredible careers. He may not be able to sit there and split atoms but he knows how to get things done.”

Elaborating on his political wit, Stallone added that he holds the ability to touch people’s hearts. And that he has the potential to run for the Presidential elections, if not for his foreigner status. He mockingly remarked, “He knows how to move people and if they would allow him, because our Constitution doesn’t allow foreigners, considering the entire country’s made up of foreigners.”

Furthermore, the host asked the 76-year-old star if Schwarzenegger would get voted in as President. With a prompt reply, he exclaimed, “Unbelievable… believe it or not, he gets it.” Concluding the subject matter, Stallone and the host amusingly quoted the actor’s signature phrase, “I’ll be back.” To think of it, it is astonishing how the Arnold-Sylvester rivalry evolved into the great friendship they revere today.

As per a previous interview with Fox News, Stallone once again recalled his fond memories with the co-actor. Apparently, Schwarzenegger pranked him into taking up the movie, Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot. He added that there was an embarrassing scene where he was asked to don a diaper.

“Once I got it I was like I’m such a turkey. It’s not even thanksgiving folks. I’ve to live with this my life. But again then I said, ‘Weren’t you pregnant in that film, Arnold?” Stallone disclosed taking his revenge for the prank.
