“He’s Just Too Far Ahead of Everybody”: ‘The King’ Ronnie Coleman Already Declared His Champion for Upcoming Mr. Olympia Seasons

When it comes to bodybuilding, there is hardly anyone who can counter the dominance of The King. With eight consecutive Mr. Olympia wins, Ronnie Coleman ruled the sport like no other. He may have retired, but that legacy that he left behind was truly exceptional. Since Ronnie graced the stage, many faces came, but there is one man who caught the attention of the King himself.

Ronnie is seen answering some fans’ questions in a recently released video. Answering such an important question, Ronnie opened up about his feelings about ‘Big Ramy.’

 Ronnie Coleman gives his verdict 

As the question “What do you think about Big Ramy?” popped on the screen, a big smile could be seen on Ronnie’s face. Praising the young talent, Ronnie says“I got a lot of respect for Big Ramy.” Elaborating further, “he’s a big guy who trains hard, works hard.”

The King does not just stop his praise there; he also shares his high hopes for the budding bodybuilder. Ronnie added, “I think he will probably be Mr. Olympia for the next at least 3 to 4 years.”

Amidst Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Absence, “The King” Ronnie Coleman Shows Up to Cheer Arnold Classic Fans Despite Battling Health Issues

According to Mr. Olympia title holder, there is nobody out there probably going to catch him. As Ronnie quotes, “he’s just too far ahead of everybody right now!” It is evident that Ronnie has his hopes high on Big Ramy.

Who is ‘Big Ramy’ that Ronnie is talking about?

For the unversed Mamdouh Elssbiay, better known as “Big Ramy.” is the 2020 and 2021 reigning and defending contender for the title of Mr. Olympia. Coming from Egypt, he is an IFBB professional bodybuilder who has earned himself great repute.

Ramy earned his pro card in 2012 by winning the overall title at Amateur Olympia in Kuwait. He also won his debut IFBB pro contest. A tough competitor, Ramy gives his competitor a tough time onstage. Having won two seasons back to back, the 37-year-old is now prepping to strike a hat-trick.
